Constantinople fell on a Tuesday. Greeks consider Tuesday the unlucky day in constrast with the rest of europe which considers the friday to be the bad day.
and both Greeks and the rest of europe consider the number 13th as unlucky but along with a different day because of the fall of Constantinople.
Tuesday the 13th for the Greeks. (because of Constantinople which fell on a Tuesday) Friday the 13th for the rest of europe (as to why for them, i dont know)

rather the rest of europe's friday is
Im positive about Tuesday being the day Polis fell and thats why it is considered bad/unlucky. (Apofrada Imera in greek).
about the 13th im not sure.
