perhaps 'none' means "I couldn't care less" (ie. you have a care factor of 0 in regards to religion) while Atheist means your actively Atheist (ie. you specifically worship no god).

BTW, I remmeber reading somewhere that Marx wasn't quite THAT anti-religous. I mean, when he wrote the book, the whole war-on-drugs thing wasn't on yet, so 'opiate for the people' wasn't quite THAT negative. If IIRC he followed it up saying something like 'it is both a way to surpress the proletariat as a reaction of the proletariat to the supression.' Or something like that.

Atheism...agnostism...everybody is trying to create one possible reason to disprove the existence of the Almighty, and having one heck of a hard time trying to do it.

Two years ago several polls showed that atheists made up about two thirds of the posters here (or at least always a majority). Now it seems like we are attracting a more educated, intelligent and enlightened crowd.

Hm, atheism is the lack of any religion whatsoever. So anybody who couldn't care less are atheists by nature.
