    Blind Man's Bluff is pretty good. Although a lot of the book was alread published in a newspaper article.

      Your thread actually gave me the idea to go back and re-read "The hunt for Red October". Hadn't read it in years since i was having an overload of the movie.
      Talk about a blast from the past! Reagan had only been in power for 4 years but you could already feel the effects of his presidency on the US military.

      It's surprising how far we've come, how the US has not only overtaken everyone but basically put itself in another league compared to the military situation back then.
