That is a great book. At least as good as 'Enders Game' IMO.

And for what should be a thread for book-readers, it is amazing how bad people are at reading and understanding what GP said:
    No science fiction/fantasy series

Not that you should stop posting them, I need suggestions for those.

I do especially recommend it if you have strong Christan values and are prone at moral panic.

Will I enjoy them in translation? Or does one need Russian?

                  Hey GP,

I'm a little late with a recommendation. It looks like you have plenty to choose from here, but if you have the time you might like Charles Bukowski. I recommend Post Office, Factotum, or Women. When I lend these books to friends, I never get them back. Try the first couple of pages and you will know immediately if it is something you are interested in. If you like him, thank me later.

In Switzerland, they had brotherly love. They had 500 years of democracy and peace. And what did that produce? The cuckoo clock."

No. Is written by Card also?
I read a lot of Asimov. Heinlein sound good too, but it wasn't translated in romanian (except 'Star troopers' (sp?). The books in english are expensive.

Yup, it takes place immediately after 'Xenocide'.

'The Worthing Saga' is another good Card book.

How exactly did you act Finnish GP? Did it involve copious amounts alcohol, or hot rooms filled with sweaty men getting whipped?

So, the trilogy has 4 books.
As soon it appers in Romania (hopefully in romanian) I'll buy it.
