How about taking over India when both the French and Dutch had the jump on them?
The Brits often have some guy that goes at least semi native and he does the important work. Besides they had a very good navy and no one could attack England itself except the Scots and they hired the Scots to fight for them. Its nice to have safe base of operations.
moomin: Nope. Saw it with my own eyes. Probably the only funny part of that entire (otherwise highly juvenile) series... Almost Chris Morrisesque in level. Too bad they'll never show Brass Eye in Sweden... Now that's a classic show.
I hate those guys that made the show since the first time I saw them they where destroying the Olympics with stupid so called jokes. Those two are so full of confidence of their own wit and superiority. They don't seem get that they actually lacks both talent and humour. They are themselves the jokes imho.
