  • What Do You Speak?

Let's see what languages you speak. I have a strange feeling that there is a very large proportion of Finnish-speakers around here. But please, don't turn this thread into a Suomithreadi.

So, what languages do you speak?

Speak is defined as you can be with a person who ONLY speaks that language, and hold a reasonably smooth conversation without too much Sign Language.

    EDIT:
    Darn! I forgot Italian..... sorry......

Poor silly humans. A temporarily stable pattern of matter and energy stumbles upon self-cognizance for a moment, and suddenly it thinks the whole universe was created for its benefit. -- mbelleroff

English isn't in there coz everyone who posts here would, presumably, speak it.

Is it common for americans and britons to speak other languages?
          Or they only speak english?
