I'm just curious - did y'all get picked on as kids, or were you a person who would pick on others?

i was picked on not so much in elementary school as i was from junior high on. i was the brunt of people making fun of my looks..saying i was ugly..etc etc. never had any friends. and toa certain extent, i still am bullied today."Speaking on the subject of conformity: This rotting concept of the unfathomable nostril mystifies the fuming crotch of my being!!! I was generally bullied in Junior High, because people knew I wouldn't do anything about.
That changed in high school - no one messed with me because I wouldn't let it happen anymore.Follow me on Twitter: http://twitter.com/DaveDaDouche

sometimes your bullies don't give you a choice about it. They seemingly becomes obssessed. perhaps my bullies were just worse than yours...might be why i am the way i am...so much darker and broken."Speaking on the subject of conformity: This rotting concept of the unfathomable nostril mystifies the fuming crotch of my being!!! Well, part of bullying was verbal - once I started making witty comebacks, making fun of them, it stopped. The other part was physical - nothing major, just humiliating. That was in junior high. In HS, it wasn't really a problem...at first I was thought of as a nerd (which I certainly was), but I slowly changed my image. I only got picked on physically once in high school, the result of which the other guy ended up unconscious.
It was never a huge deal to me - when it happened a lot it didn't bother me to much, but when I started caring more, it slowed down/stopped.Follow me on Twitter: http://twitter.com/DaveDaDouche

Haha, I got picked on, but noone ever did anything, they were all talk.
Freshman gym class the "star athlete" of the class didn't like me and we got into a few shoving matches because I wouldn't back down.
I think it started because I was one of the smallest in my class and in Elementary school I had a really bad temper.I never know their names, But i smile just the same

I'm lucky to be in a school where that doesn't happen. Actually, its just my grade in my school, but that's not really the point.
I think part of it is that the whole "popular" thing has gone away this year, so people don't try to act cool by picking on other people.
I only "bully" this one guy who is so absolutely unenthusiastic about life that its a lot of fun to ask him if he's excited about mundane things like Daylight Savings Time."You're the biggest user of hindsight that I've ever known. yeah..but for the rest of us, if we knocked out bullies senseless, we'd get slapped with some law suit just so they could irritate us more."Speaking on the subject of conformity: This rotting concept of the unfathomable nostril mystifies the fuming crotch of my being!!! I was picked on a little in elementary school because I always took math with the kids one or two grades above me--I'd get along fine with the kids in my own grade, but the kids who were one or two years older didn't like me at all. I also wore glasses, which made me an easy target. 2nd grade was especially bad, because there were two bullies in the 4th grade who sat right by me in math and would always be flicking spitballs at me or something.
One day on the playground one of the 4th graders tackled me and started hitting me. I kind of blanked out for a few seconds (I've always had a pretty bad temper, it's just that it only seems to surface when I or somebody else is actually being physically attacked), and when I came back to my senses I found that I was being pinned to the ground by two teachers. The 4th grader was lying on the ground bawling his eyes out, because apparently I'd broken his nose and one of his collarbones in the course of beating the **** out of him. Well, obviously the 4th graders didn't pick on me much after that, and the rest of my time in elementary school was pretty uneventful.
HTML is disabled in signatures

I got made fun of for my name.
Aside from that, I was never popular...but I didn't care. Popularity to me is a farse, full of fake friendships and compliments that mean nothing. I occasionally got picked on for that, but it never bothered me. I always had 2 or 3 very close friends that cared a lot for me and that I cared a lot about. Then in High School it all stopped when they realised that being nice was getting me friendships with pretty much every girl in school. Same with me. I don't get too pissed when it comes to verbal insults, but if someone uses violence I beat the **** out of them. When I lose my temper I'm also about twice as strong.

I never got physically bullied - which is good because if I did I would sh*t my pants.
I got laughed at quite a bit because, like so many of us, I am a "nerd", and I was younger than most of the people I have anyting to do with on acount of having skipped 2nd grade.
I refute it thus!
