Does printscreen give you a .jpg or something?

Skeptics should forego any thought of convincing the unconvinced that we hold the torch of truth illuminating the darkness. A more modest, realistic, and achievable goal is to encourage the idea that one may be mistaken. Doubt is humbling and constructive; it leads to rational thought in weighing alternatives and fully reexamining options, and it opens unlimited vistas.

What's the file called or where does it put it? Otherwise I'd be sifting through 30G of random data.

Just check the background tab at display properties, all the graphical background files should be listed there.

Printscreen copies it to your clipboard.

You need to find some program (MSPaint, Photoshop, PSP, etc) to paste it in.
