      Dulce et Decorum... was a WWI poem Frustrated Poet. Either by Wilfred Owen or Siegfried Sassoon (I always get those two mixed up).

              "Country" is only that that is made up of "people".

              Note the differences between;
              Prepared to die and Looking to die.
              Life is not measured by the number of breaths you take, but by the moments that take your breath away.

                Country is an artificial historically defined boundary surrounding some land ruled by a government *spit* I might fight to protect my friends and family but not some little git from South Central Reading.

                  Not really.

                  I am, however, fully prepared to send Wiglaf to die for my country. Too bad he's a DL.

                    If Saddam lands an amphibious division on Miami Beach, yes I will fight to the death. But don't ask me to go to Iraq and topple his government. Don't even ask me to go "liberate" Kuwait or Saudi Arabia. Saddam hasn't done anything to America other than pose a threat; a threat of a unified, strong, economically powerful Arab nation. I will die to defend my nation but not to defend my nation's hegemony. Peace out.

                      Frankly I'd prefer not to fight or die at all.

                          I'd be more than willing to die for a good cause, I'd never kill for it though.

                            No, but it's not that I am not prepared to, it's that I don't want to.

                              If only we could send DLs into battle. An infinite supply of irritating trolls, and when wave after wave dies off we could just create new ones. With our massive supply of Wiglafs, the US would be unconquerable.

                                You are right Larvaman, but, we can't all be on the same side on apolyton, so it would be a DL war. The question is, which half is the most irritating. Hehe
