The soldier killed yesterday, btw, was a Shayetet 13 commando. Shayetet 13 is the Israeli parralel to the Navy Seals."Beware of he who would deny you access to information, for in his heart he dreams himself your master" - Commissioner Pravin Lal.

An Israeli soldier helps an elderly Palestinian man past a barbed wire barricade and to the front of a long line at the Kalandia checkpoint between Ramallah and Jerusalem, Monday, April 22, 2002. On the second day after Iraeli troops pulled back from positions throughout Ramallah, traffic at the Kalandia checkpoint has returned to "normal".
Even after all they've been through, the soldier can still offer his hand and the old Palestinian can still accept it.
Perhaps there is still hope for these people after all..."Politics is to say you are going to do one thing while you're actually planning to do someting else - and then you do neither."

Guardian :
When was the picture of the mourning soldiers taken? Do they mourn the soldier that was killed yesterday?
This is very important."Beware of he who would deny you access to information, for in his heart he dreams himself your master" - Commissioner Pravin Lal.

My sources say they are Israeli border guards attending the funeral of Uriel Bar-Mimon in the coastal town of Ashkelon yesterday (Monday, April 22, 2002). Bar-Mimon was killed Saturday in a shooting attack at the Erez crossing between Israel and Gaza."Politics is to say you are going to do one thing while you're actually planning to do someting else - and then you do neither."

There is another picture, of the same boy throwing rocks and two adult gunmen aiming behind him. Let's see if I can find it."Beware of he who would deny you access to information, for in his heart he dreams himself your master" - Commissioner Pravin Lal.
