    A couple of points.

I understand why the Quebecers wouldn't want to fight for the UK during the world wars, but France was getting hammered too, don't the Frenchies stick together

I don't see why we need to improve the military, like KH said only the US can invade us, and if they want to there isn't anything we can do about it. Other than that it's just a cash sink.

I think we should shorten our country name to The Dominion. Or do we have to wait until we can breed Jem'Hadar

Guynemer's right. That area of Canada is an absolute jewel, from Toronto to Stratford, which is great just the way it is. And the people are the nicest around. Amazing what difference there is between borders.

Say nice things about Detroit, Tingkai. After all, there's beauty in decay..

There never was that much interest from France for Quebec or Nouvelle France. They didn't help us when the British invaded and they don't help us much now. I'm talking about economically. They're always there to sign a "cultural cooperation" deal or Sh!T like that but for anything that matters... nothing.

Outside of the artistic community and the PQ/Government circles, there's not much interest for France. I know that i don't really care about them.
        What?

If the old Tiger stadium was still there, I'd want Detroit in a second.

One of the perfect moments in my life was seeing the Jays playing against the Tigers in early May 92. The stadium was pretty much empty. I went down to just behind home plate. Now that's baseball when you can hit the crack of the bat and the players dissing each other. And you see the ball come in and think how the hell does anyone hit it.

Damn right, Ting. (Too bad you've got all-expense paid 48 hour trip to Mingapulco.) Tiger Stadium was, far and aware, the favorite place of my childhood. Comerica Park is beautiful and I love the field dimensions and everyone has good sightlines, but it's just not the same.

We Americans can make it even worse with our Second Amendment, and by ignoring international protocol on the environment.

Besides, that wedge jutting into our rightful border is just plain ugly on maps!!

That is one park that I really want to see.... and yes, I love the field dimensions too... it ain't a homer-a-second park.

Drinking age is 18 in Alberta too.

Back to the original premise, does this mean that in turn for southern Ontario we get a chunk added to Manitoba and BC and a new province of Alaska?

That's what I like most about it. However, the problem with it is that it is nowhere near as intimate as Tiger Stadium. You're significantly further away from the action. No more obstructed view seats, but no one is on top of the action anymore, either.

A little metaphor for socialism, eh? Oh, the irony.

Don't they use the Sea Kings for Coast Guard duty as well?

So far, all I know about canada is that's place to get high with the cops.

BTW, in those three pages I have yet to see the words "Canadian Bacon". I'm talking the movie AND food.

The movie was just political propagana from the left wing. Canada is NOT all happy and joy.
