Then there are the Bogart films: The Maltese Falcon and The Caine Mutiny. And how can we forget the early 70s film Young Frankstein and Blazing Saddles, and Mel's first Oscar, The Producers (Spingtime for Hitler and Germany, Winter for Poland and France).

Come on folks, lets name some great films that have not been mentioned yet.

I considered all three of those Mel Brooks films, but I just couldn't bump off my #1 comedy, Life of Brian. But The Producers sure made it close.
