Just because our courghts are independant from the parliament and government, and they ruled against the government in most cases, and always kept justice above everything (and I do know since we study the history of our supreme court cases), doesn't mean anything.

It should be noted though that the British were trying to prevent Jews from escaping the Holocaust and this was the main reason that so many Jews opposed them. I'd say that the Jewish groups opposing the British made a net saving of lives by smuggling Jews into the country.
