But, I'm Italian all the way. And the Finnish cuisine isn't all that horrendous, if you just ignore the cabbage foods and mämmi.

Just made a great indonesianish stir fry with peanut sauce, fresh pineapple, and lots of shallots. Can still taste it
How anyone can prefer any other cuisine is beyond me

                How about Pasties? Dutch?

                  You know nothing Imran, nothing

Wasn't a greasy stir-fry and there wasn't any soy-sauce or anything in it which I agree would be gross. There was a lot of really nice peanut sauce that made the noodles nice and wet and the pineapple soaked up that flavor and the tumeric and cumin. Came pretty close to being curried noodles and anyone who knows anything knows pineapple is great in curry
And the Boshkovian housemates that descended upon it are on my side

                    Starchild's top faves:

Chinese. Mmmmmmmm. Spicy Schezhuan, colourful and varied Cantonese. Hearty Beijing area grub. Steamed buns stuffed with pork. Fried rice. Twice cooked beef simmering in soy sauce. Tea eggs and mooncakes. Dim sum. Peking duck with hoi sin sauce in rice pancakes.

Japanese. So healthy yet so good. Sushi. Sashimi. Yakatori. Miso soup, stick dumplings, and habachi. Sake!

                    Vietnamese. Pho. 'nough said.

Indian. Vindaloo, madras, and korma oh my! Somosas, chutney, naan bread, pappadums, roti. Bright red, fiery hot curry that stains the fingers and turns the rice yellow!

Greek. I live off of chicken slovaki wrapped in a hot pita when I'm at work.

British. Don't laugh, but when I'm sick/depressed I long for welsh rabit made by my mum or a hearty roast with yorkshire puddings.
Exult in your existence, because that very process has blundered unwittingly on its own negation. Only a small, local negation, to be sure: only one species, and only a minority of that species; but there lies hope. [...] Stand tall, Bipedal Ape. The shark may outswim you, the cheetah outrun you, the swift outfly you, the capuchin outclimb you, the elephant outpower you, the redwood outlast you. But you have the biggest gifts of all: the gift of understanding the ruthlessly cruel process that gave us all existence [and the] gift of revulsion against its implications.

                        They are all delicious foods!!!
                        I can relate.

I love me some good traditional Norwegian cuisine, but I can understand that foreigners don't get all happy and drooling when faced with fish in various stages of decay.

I still love it though, even though I mostly eat rakfisk during Christmas.

The trouble with fighting for human freedom is that one spends most of one's time defending scoundrels. For it is against scoundrels that oppressive laws are first aimed, and oppression must be stopped at the beginning if it is to be stopped at all.

I know that personally I prefer British cuisine to "Torsk på Norsk Vis" (Boiled, Unspiced cod) any day.

I used to think I _liked_ or _didn't like_ various cuisines. Only when I started traveling a bit more and experienced the awesome variety available did I realize --

It's the cook, not the cuisine.

That being said, a great chef in the mode of country French beats anything else I've tried.
