"Harpax" sounds like some sort of sanitary product, or maybe something you put in the toilet to turn the water blue.
Actually, I thought that Harpax sounded like exotic disease you pick up from visit to Thailand and which causes your scrotum to tingle and then fall off. It's... food-related, yes, water-related, that's the ticket.

The interchangeability of matter and spirit means the starlit magic of the outermost life of our universe becomes the soul-light magic of the innermost life of our self." - Dennis Kucinich, candidate for the U. S. presidency

Harpax (Toilet Duck ), you have my congratulations on joining the Apolyton crew. I hope your stay will be a pleasurable one. I apologize for my "dry" method of posting, that's why they don't like me here.

As a sign of friendship and goodwill between us, I offer you my traditional gift: a box of the finest Belgian chocolates (Courtesy of Colon).

Hmm, I've noticed a link between Provost's posting time on Counterglow and Harpax's posting time on Apolyton.

Yes. When the forum was updated the time field were reset to 0. As unix time starts at 1970 that is what it shows. I think the reset time was 15 feb 1999

                    And likes concrete architecture...

Hmmm. Have you seen the new graduate residence at Spadina and Harbord? What are your feelings about it?
                    I refute it thus!

Hey Goingonit, do you go to U of T? I much prefer Robarts Library! Now that's concrete!

If you know about the graduate residence, you must know about Robarts.

I'm in high school at UTS - it's in the campus area.

Robarts used to be the ugliest building on campus - now we have that thing.

UTS? Where is that? I've never heard of it.

Do I smell an Apolytoners Toronto Meeting coming up?

Seriously though, I love the Robarts building. And did you know it is supposed to represent a peacock? Hah!

I agree with you concerning the new residence. It is ugly!

BTW, where did the pics come from?

On the pics, I did a google search.

UTS stands for University of Toronto Schools; it's affiliated with U of T, but it's a high school. It's the southeast corner of Bloor and Spadina; this building:

Sweet! Is it like a private school?

Actually I'm in my first year at U of T. I belong to University College (I chose it simply because it's at the heart of the university ). Actually, I don't think it really matters which college you belong to. Minor differences (with the exception of architecture and public washrooms - man, have you ever been to the washrooms at Trinity College? Euhhh! Well, the basement one anyway. ).

UTS, hey? Are you in OAC?
