  • How open-minded are you?

How open-minded would you say you are? Be honest.

I've made the poll multiple-choice because many of us are, for example, extremely open to new ideas in one category and not at all open to new ideas in another category. Or, maybe somebody wants to respond to the poll, but also wants to tell me to bugger off.

I voted: I am not open to new ideas, and will attack people with ideas I do not like.

New ideas? How about Bad ideas. I am not open to bad ideas. Like Communism. And will attack these ideas unrelentlessly.

It depends on the matter, generally speaking I am open to listen to and consider any idea. But I can be very stuborn about my core beliefs, however, but even in those cases I'll usually agree to disagree. (unless it's really out there)

I don't think any of those answers reflect my position very well, so I voted for you to bugger off.

Hmm. So, if I had made even more poll options and made them even more complicated, the number of "bugger off" responses may have actually decreased. I shall have to keep this in mind when making future polls.

The troub;e with multi Polls is that it is far too tempting to avoid selecting EVERY option. :P~~~~~~~~~~~

This open-mindedness thing... nothing good can come out of it. Nothing. Won't even try it. Not gonna do it. Nope.

Admit it. You just wanted Banana to get 100% of the votes.

Well, I figured that "banana" and "bugger off" would get a majority of votes...

I was tempted to add two more banana responses, though.

I am open to new ideas, even ones completey different from my present ideas, but they must be justified EXTREMELY well and made clear that they are right- such as when I changed my position on the drug war from "Execute Drug Dealers" to "Legalize All Drugs" after badly losing a drug war debate to Berzerke.

I'm a little too open-minded. To be honest, I`m naive.
