    I express my deepest condolences.
What happened? Is it really bad?
For there is [another] kind of violence, slower but just as deadly, destructive as the shot or the bomb in the night. This is the violence of institutions -- indifference, inaction, and decay. This is the violence that afflicts the poor, that poisons relations between men because their skin has different colors. - Bobby Kennedy (Mindless Menance of Violence)

I would hate anything to happen to her. Do you think she'll pull through?

There were times when I could have murdered her. But I would hate anything to happen to her.

Depends. How did she get into coma?
Sometimes they wake up the next day, sometimes after two weeks or months...and, sadly, sometimes...never...
But I'm sure medical personnel are looking after her well and hope she wakes up soon.

                killed who?

This is reading like a one sentence story thread.

comas are very tricky infat. but there is good hope
                  things will be ok.

my best friends daughter was in a coma for 3 months
they wanted her to end life support and said she would be
                  brain dead.
jill could not do it....at that point and waited.
                  her daughter eventually woke up
but had a couple of years of rehabilitation.
she had to learn to walk , read, and do everything over again.
she is not the same mentally and also is legally blind..
but she has married and had a baby since.
so her life goes on and she is happy.

                  ill pray for your girlfriend.

if you want to do something.
when they let you go to the hospital and read to her.
they say that is a good thing.

I'm sorry, this thread hasn't gone as planned.

                    Girlfriend In A Coma

But that is a touching story Boann, and a story perhaps making this thread worthwhile.

and the meaning of Infatuation's song is that he, simply, can't get laid Girlfriend in a coma...Such poetic metaphors for an ugly truth...

I had my doubts when Infatuation mentioned 'Girlfriend' but I kept them to myself in the case that this was serious.
