I thought it was time to bring back an old tradition. (Any CGNer would probably also know that I recently started this up again over there as well.) Here are the rules for the uninitiated:
"You may fire when ready."
- The object of the game is to figure out what country I'm thinking of. You can do this by asking yes/no questions about anything relating to it. Whoever ends up guessing the country gets the noble prize of being able to pick the next one.
- For the purposes of this game, all countries used must have a listing in the CIA World Factbook.
- If the question you ask me is not a yes/no question, it does not count in the list and you will simply be ignored.
- If my response to your question is yes, you can ask another question, but you must wait for two other people to ask questions before doing so.
- If my response to your question is no, you are out of the game, unless your question is one of the first three asked. (Essentially, the first three questions are freebies. Use them well.)
- If I respond yes to three questions from the same person, that person receives an extra life. (The person can receive an answer of no to one question and still remain in the game.)
- You may not guess the country as one of the first three questions. After that point, anyone still in the game can guess the country at any time, even if you just asked a question.
"You may fire when ready."
