First one is Alexander's Horse with 293 posts in Off-Topic since the evening of October 10th. That number might be slightly off, I was keeping track in my head while my roommate was telling me all about how he'd just gone to war with the Chinese over some alluminum.

So, 21 divided by 293 is .0716723. I'll compare that to the other top ranked people, Bob Dornan, devilmunchkin, derek, Dissident, dv8ed, Ecthelion, faded glory, Infatuation, JohnT, Lonestar, November Adam, paiktis22, Provost Harrison, rah, Ramo, Seeker, Slowwhand, and Urban Ranger. All of them were the final posters in ten or more threads.

But that can wait for tomorrow night. Later, y'all.

edit: That should be 21 over 273 is .0769230. A rediculous number of significant figures, but still.

                I know what you mean....

Read a thread from ... sometime in the year 2000 (search is still disabled, right?) by me.

It's entitled "The call of the apolyton fourth horseman".

                Exactly about that.

im rather interested to know the results of this. . provided that someone else does the work to find them. Good job man!

it'd also be interesting (and damn near impossible) to find out who has the most threads that recieved no replies at all. . .

                        Damn, four for me.

I just like to think of it as closing off the topic so well that there is no need to post anymore.

In some cases being the last to post on a thread is an indication of always having to have the last word. That explains Ashers score.

Another method for testing is seeing how long elapses between someones post and the next reply. I say this because those on-line in the recent few hours will have a higher score than those who have only just come online for the first time that day.
One day Canada will rule the world, and then we'll all be sorry.

10 final posts divided by 425 posts on OT is a .0235294. The fellows here can't seem to resist responding to you.

By the way, I flubbed on AH's numbers, I forgot to stop counting his posts after November 10th. I'll edit that post when I get the revised numbers.

                              edit: I messed up dm's number's too.

Bob Dornan has got 14 dead threads and 327 posts in that period, for a value of .0428134.

Has derek changed to Ted Striker? If so, I'll need to edit that too.
