Exit - Stage Left is one of Rush's best.
Christianity: The belief that a cosmic Jewish Zombie who was his own father can make you live forever if you symbolically eat his flesh and telepathically tell him you accept him as your master, so he can remove an evil force from your soul that is present in humanity because a rib-woman was convinced by a talking snake to eat from a magical tree...

Thumbs up to you and Swedes in general who come to Roskilde

Are you talking 2000 or 2003?

You're welcome. With the events of the following day in mind, I'm happy you at least had a good time attending the Maiden concert which was in fact a very nice one.

I was up front screaming along with a bunch of Swedes and Norwegians. It seemed as though my fellow Scandinavians were more in to the scene than us Danes - a fact which I can only regret.

only because you don't like Slayer's music.

The version of South of Heaven sounds better on that live album than on the original album.

Dissident, I love the early Slayer stuff. "Reign in Blood" is one of the best metal album of the 80´s. I just don´t think the sound on the "Decade..." CD (the LP might sound better) is good enough. Recording live albums is tricky business after all...

Monk, yes truly a sad ending to a great festival

Both Live in Leeds by the Who and Live in Japan by Deep Purple are pieces of art... I wish I had been there

I just lurrve it when them old boys go crazy on stage and do some solo . Don't often see that by modern artists, ... usually they just 'do their thing' and that's it. In punk and hardcore and variations there's more, but I don't have much live stuff from that kind of bands

Rammstein in Berlin is pretty impressive though, the DVD is much fun!

Oh btw, I think Manowar (you know that goofy metalband (well they have some good songs tho ) from way back) has the record of loudest band... I don't understand too, because it's not really that 'heavy'

Sweden Rock Festival - Bicycle distance from here! Maiden haven't been there yet, but Bruce Dickinson was. Same songs, different guitars.

the legend has it that that unmade live record back in the 70's by Mighty Sabbath Black is the best live record ever. but because its unmade the place goes to Deep Purple's 'Made In Japan'.

other good picks in my mind would be:
NightWish - From Wishes To Eternity (1999)
Iced Earth - Alive In Athens (1999)
Deep Purple - Live At The Olympia (1996)

EDIT: how could I forget DP's Come Hell Or High Water(1994)?
                            yep, Deep Purple has it.

I give my nod to Peter Frampton

here are some of his songs:

                              All I Wanna Be
                              All Night Long
                              Almost Said Goodbye
                              Baby I Love Your Way
                              Breaking All The Rules
                              Call Of The Wild
                              Can't Take That Away
                              Cant Take That Away
                              Changing All The Time
                              Day In The Sun
Do You Feel Like We Do?
                              Don't Fade Away
                              Dont Fade Away
                              For Now
                              Holding On To You
I Can't Stand It No More
                              I'll Give You Money
                              I'm In You
It All Comes Down To You
                              It's A Plain Shame
                              Just The Time Of Year
                              Lines On My Face
                              Lying
                              More Ways Than One
                              Most Of All
                              Show Me The Way
Show Me The Way - Peter Frampton
                              Signed Sealed Delivered (I'm Yours)
                              So Hard To Believe
                              Talk To Me
                              Tempted
                              The Bigger They Come
                              Tried To Love
                              Waiting For Your Love
                              You

on the LIVE album he did a rendition of The Rolling Stones JUmpin Jack Flash that was pretty awesome
