  • 45 hours? I'm pretty sure it was 45 minutes...

      • After the 33 minute mark passed, Cmdr. Adama ordered Capt. Apollo to set up a patrol of the fleet. Kara thanked Apollo for the "honor" of being selected to sit in her cockpit for the next 3 hours. Before that period ended, the Olympic Carrier jumped in.

          • Well, I doubt he would have waited for almost 2 days before deciding to take advantage of the absence of the Cylons for the first time in 5 days.

Yes, but the Galactica has to carry it's own air and water supply, unlike a modern naval vessel.

              • It was 45 minutes, not hours. The clock counted milliseconds

Very true. And it's reasonable to assume the Galactica was on a skeleton crew at the time of the Cylon attack, as it was just hours away from being decommissioned.

                    • I don't know about you guys, but I thought the show sucked this time. I was very disappointed. I hope the CYlons win... just so I don't have to watch any more of this ****ty show.

                      • I thought it was great. Best work SciFi has done after Farscape. "33" was incredible. It really felt oppressive.

I'm giving it one more chance... this friday... after that, if it still sucks, I'm done watching it.

I didn't feel the way you felt about it. Somehow, a whole bunch of ships in the distance doing nothing didn't feel "oppressive". Maybe if they actually showed some of the battle scenes, it would be cool. But they showed the ships in the distance doing nothing. How the **** is that "oppressive"?

One thing I did like was when Boomer was fighting her Cylon instinct off. I thought that was good.

                            • Did you watch the miniseries? That had a few battles, plus watching all the nukes going off on Caprica.

Watching the attacks in "33" didn't suck. It felt like they were fighting against massive odds and barely holding the line.

I misssed 33 on friday and got to see it today. I really enjoyed the atmosphere painted by the writers. Great show so far.
