The temperature on mars varys between -200F to 60 F (summer and winter extemes)
When you mention the more active atmosphere what are you saying exactly? If mars had much more atmosphere than NASA thought it did it would be patently impossible for them to have safely landed the rovers. I hope you realise that the extreme thinness of the martian atmosphere is in some respects the number one obstacle to prospects for surface life.

Now why didn't my picture show up? Could it be "THE CONSPIRACY"?

coincidence. You are only seeing this alleged 'alien' from one angle with one angle of lighting. We need a follow up image with different illumination before jumping to any conclusions about whether that is really an 'alien' or just a natural landform.

          I remain unconvinced.

For there is [another] kind of violence, slower but just as deadly, destructive as the shot or the bomb in the night. This is the violence of institutions -- indifference, inaction, and decay. This is the violence that afflicts the poor, that poisons relations between men because their skin has different colors. - Bobby Kennedy (Mindless Menance of Violence)

              No caution is needed.

                This is clearly mud.

That doesn't look like mud to me. It looks like ice and dirt. When I'd drive to my (then) girlfriends place in Montana her dirt drive way would look like that and there most certainly wasn't any liquid water at that time of year.

                    1) You're asking me to prove a negative about a form of life the existence of which has not even been demonstrated!

                    2) It's absurd to think that life that evolved on Mars could even survive on Earth, let alone be infectious to humans.

Nonetheless, it is important we be cautious. Better to be safe then sorry. I'm asking you why we shouldn't? Is it really that absurd?

Yes even though the cross light is green, I look both ways... I've heard cases of drunks and other bad drivers going through reds.

Better safe than sorry, though. There could be invisible cars, like that James Bond one.
