It must be tough be a Vikings fan these days. They give you all the hope in the wall, and then choke big time in December. At least with the Bears lately, we know they are going to suck

      • So, what is the AFC-NFC interconference record now?

Ramsey will get better.. The Skins defense was very impressive.

          • So Carolina controls their own destiny to get into the playoffs now. You have to give coach Fox for pulling that team together after their injuries this year.

            • Crap... Justin Griffith is out for the year . Hopefully Pritchett is serviceable. A good running game needs a good fullback.

Yeah, I assume his "time management" will improve, and his judgement about passing on 3rd and 2. And the Eagles defense was no slouches. And maybe they could get rid of that guy who made the hit AFTER the punt return was over, costing them 15 yards for no reason but his own emotion? But yeah, the defense rocked, looked like they were trying to win the game on their own.

He had two bad penalties called against him and each time they cut to a shot of him on the sidelines acting like he can't believe he did something wrong.. Maybe you could trade him to the Eagles for Todd "Alligator Arms" Pinkston, who we have absolutely no confidence throwing to in the clutch now...

                  • The Washington defense was terrific. They have great personnel and a solid scheme. Classic Gibbs.

As impressive as the Bears' D has been on occasion, you gotta admire a unit like this, able to stop an offense as good as Philly's without strictly relying on turnovers (which the Bears gotta do).

That was an excellent game, especially compared to the usual Sunday night crap we see.

                    • What'd ya talking about? Last week the Sunday game was also the best of the day (Jacksonville and Pittsburgh) . When you pick games at the beginning of the year, sometimes you misfire on who is going to be good.

My wife actually said "Maybe he should take off the skirt and heels and try to catch the next pass" after he shied away from that throw in the first quarter. I fell off the couch laughing - totally uncharacteristic comment coming from her.

Nice to see the Eagles can even win the sloppy ones.

I knew Carolina would finish the season strongly. I expect them to reach the playoffs. I hope that Philly meets them in championship game rematch. Now beat Atlanta Saturday night so Philly can clinch the first seed and start resting their starters!

The only way Pinkston can redeem himself is if he walks into the team meetings tomorrow and asks to play the slot on Sunday. He needs the coach and the entire team to see him going over the middle a lot and taking some big hits..
