I have a number of qualms with the standard american conservative ideology despite my far right wing beliefs; qualms which cause me to still consider myself a fascist though, with respect to american politics, i vote the Republican party line.
Firstly, I am not religious. I'm somewhat agnostic so all the American conservative appeals to religion do not appeal to me. social conservatism does, but not for religious reasons. I think of religion as an opiate for the weak and much rather prefer an existentialist philosophy, chiefly Nietzscheanism.
Also, I am not opposed to social programs, I favour a Keynesian fiscal policy, favour a strong federal gov't especially with respect to security and defence, am nationalistic though pro-immigration, believe in an aggressive, unilateral foreign policy, and so on. i mostly agree with the fascist policies and even am partial to such fascist nuances as liking futurist, expressionist, and surrealist art (Salvdor Dali), monumental modernist architecture, and so on.
some liberals and old school conservatives like Pat Buchanan claim that the neoconservative fiscal and foreign policy and pro-big gov't stance are reminiscent of fascism. Could it be that the GOP is truly going fascist (which would fit with my political beliefs) or am i still going to have to support a party I don't wholly agree with?
