Don't worry. They will eventually go away. Jesus will one day be thought of the same way Zeus and Poseidon are. I just hope I'm around to see such a day.
To us, it is the BEAST.

I think that opinion in the United States is decidedly different from the rest of the world because we have a free press -- by free, I mean a virgorously presented right wing point of view on the air and available to all.- Ned

Remember, this is coming straight from CBS (biased media).
          HAVE A DAY.
<--- Quote by Former U.S. President Theodore "Teddy" Roosevelt
"And there will be strange events in the skies--signs in the sun, moon, and stars. And down here on earth the nations will be in turmoil, perplexed by the roaring seas and strange tides. The courage of many people will falter because of the fearful fate they see coming upon the earth, because the stability of the very heavens will be broken up. Then everyone will see the Son of Man arrive on the clouds with power and great glory. So when all these things begin to happen, stand straight and look up, for your salvation is near!" --Luke 21:25-28
For the Lord himself will come down from heaven with a commanding shout, with the call of the archangel, and with the trumpet call of God. First, all the Christians who have died will rise from their graves. Then, together with them, we who are still alive and remain on the earth will be caught up in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air and remain with him forever. --1 Thessalonians 4:16-17

While they might be misguided on this particular issue if they believe in Creationism, this is still a great sign that Religious Roots are alive and well in this country, and has not decayed as Europe has.

Yeah, things have really gone downhill in Europe since they stopped burning witches.

Would that they should live in a Christian country.

Ignoring the fact that your point is biased, incomplete, and just plain loony in itself, what you have just now agreed is that:

                1) CBS is telling the truth, that the more educated one is the less likely they believe in Creationism or;

                2) CBS is lying, in which case the report is crap and makes the point of copy/pasting it moot.

                  You 'mericuns are so funny.
Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent. Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent. Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil? Is he neither able nor willing?

How can you not believe in evolution, I mean it isn't like there's a lack of ****ING PROOF!!!

I mean, it wasn't completely silly before the discovery of DNA, but after that you have to be a 24 carat moron not to believe in evolution.

Don't worry, the religious void in Europe shouldn't last. Since they have abandoned the Christian ideals of the family, birthrates have plummeted, and Moslems should soon be able to set up Islamic Republics there.

I guess that means that Americans are not believers anymore, since our birthrate is declining too.

Why must you hate America so?

And let's not forget that there is a such thing as biased education. Practically all public education is biased towards the left. It's no wonder why our young people are so leftist.

No. They just want to open shops and become doctors.

And you are ignoring the obvious fact about immigration: it takes on average about one generation for most immigrants to dump tradition in favour of fun and happiness.

What's leftist about evolution? The only people who have tried to put the theory into political practice were right wing people like Hitler.

I suppose Hitler is a leftist now....

I'll take option two. I think CBS is lying about one point just to make religious people sound stupid. CBS apparently believes that left-educated folks are more educated than those who got a sensible education.
