Well, he didn't do a very good job of it here. And reading that article would lead one to conclude that he is just a desperate partisan hack. In short - he shouldn't have written it. You don't make accusations like that w/o evidence, especially if you want to be taken seriously later on.

Our machines in Illinois weren't much better. Old punch machines that I really had to fiddle with to make proper punches. But at least when you're done, they put it through a machine to check for valid punches.It's almost as if all his overconfident, absolutist assertions were spoonfed to him by a trusted website or subreddit. Ours are the ones where you go in, click switches for the candidates you want to vote for, and then move a big lever to register the votes & reset it for the next voter.
Maybe they work fine, and if so, good. But IIRC they're approaching the century mark.
