    • I doubt it's a wire - probably a backbrace judging from the ranch photo comparison.

If it was a wire they could have hidden it under his arm or in his jacket pockets and noone would have spotted it.
Any views I may express here are personal and certainly do not in any way reflect the views of my employer. Tis the rising of the moon..

Look, I just don't anymore, okay?

      • George Bush had a wire in his jacket, Bill Clinton had an intern in his pants, which is worse? Keep your eye on the ball, people, or balls, rather.

        • AH, not only that, but the wire seems to be quite huge too. If it was in fact a wire.

But then again, Kennedy was killed by a magic bullet .. You never know these things..

But until I see credible evidence that he was wired, I'll just forget this issue all together.

          • Kerry's suit is much better quality than Bush's. Or it fits him better.

            • is this a left-wing-conspiracy web site?

this thread is very weird. Beats the hell out of the gunman on the grassy knoll rubbish.
Wouldn't be surprised if it was some sort of back-brace(as suggested already) combo wiv summat else.
You folks come down too hard on the poor-thing-junior. Compared to Blair he's incredibly honest, which admittedly is the easiest thing any human can do.

              • Am I mistaken or does that last photo show Kerry with a mysterious bulge in his back too? Oh, that's his spine?

                      • I wouldn't be surprised if Bush was coached. This bulge is probably not a wire, but it only sounds normal to me that such a high-level politician gets coached.

As the political jobs become more and more complex, politicians are to work more and more as a team with people possessing a variety of talents. Actually, I consider elected presidents as little more than the PR guys of a team of seasoned politicians.

Karl Rove is probably extremely talented at leading a campaign, but I doubt he has as much charisma, as much "guy next door" attitude as Bush. Cheney is probably far more talented than Bush at leading a country, yet I doubt he'd have what it takes to initially become the Republican candidate, and then to become elected by the US at large.

Should Bush be an empty shell, which merely embodies the whole "presidential team", I would consider it to be an ordinary continuation of politics, and nothing to be shocked by.

                            • My bulge is no mystery.
BTW: I heard on the news that the "bulge" was attributed to poor tailoring.

                              • I find it interesting that every administrative and right-wing denial I've read have specifically stated that the bulge was not a transmitter.
