This time an UNRWA vehicle with clear UN marking, is used to transport a payload of Kassam rockets, manufactured and used by the Hamas terrorist organization.
The Kassam is a small self-made rocket which can reach some 12 Km, and is shot from the northern Gaza strip into Israel, usually on the town of Sderot.
So far, some 4 people have died from the Kassam shelling.
IDF has attempted to use airforce to hunt Kassam launch groups, with very limited success. (now we know why)
As a result, for the 3rd time, IDF is engaging in occupation of the northern Palestinian towns in the Gaza strip, in attempt to capture Hamas activists, their rockets and destroy factories where Kassam rockets are made.
