White folk speak a bit different from the black folk down here, Speer. And it sounds more like white folk to me.

Translation into redneck:
Whut er y'all tawkin a-bout? Ain't I just proved my poin? Y'all ain't thinkin right.“I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”

i said: Whut yall tawkin bout?
you said: Whut er y'all tawkin a-bout?
the difference: addition of 'are' and the pronouncing of 'a' in about. grammer difference which i contend isn't significant as i'm sure many rednecks dont even bother with the a in about and what not.
i said: Aint I just done proved my point?
you said: Ain't I just proved my point?
Difference: The word done... now Mitchell made it clear he used the word done in this context... so Mitchell must be talking ghetto, not redneck, right? he said that he says, "I done got the book""Flutie was better than Kelly, Elway, Esiason and Cunningham." - Ben Kenobi

I don't know where he may have gotten his dialect but I do know where he lives and I know that if he has lived there for a while it is bound to show up in his speechWhich side are we on? We're on the side of the demons, Chief. We are evil men in the gardens of paradise, sent by the forces of death to spread devastation and destruction wherever we go. I'm surprised you didn't know that. --Saul Tigh

Um, what do you think dialect is but grammar differences? And yes, the a is used often.
The word done... now Mitchell made it clear he used the word done in this context... so Mitchell must be talking ghetto, not redneck, right? he said that he says, "I done got the book"
"I done" and "I just done" aren't the same thing. Try again. "I just done" just puts too many words in the sentance.

Oh, and Speer, if you can't tell the difference when a redneck and ghetto person speaks outloud (you say they are basically the same dialect), then you ain't listening.
I spend a lot of my job on the phone and I definetly can tell who is 'ghetto' and who is 'redneck'.“I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”

Really. Lucky guess. I was going to go down the Gulf states next since I haven't talked much to them either. I can't figure out, what it's missing from eastern south, and appalachia but I've been there. And I know it's something. It's really bugging me.Accidently left my signature in this post.

Here is a site with some aduio samples of some arkansas dialects.
I don't know if he is originally from arkansas, like I am, but I do know it grows on you if you stay here to long
And there are some differences between the northern part in the Ozarks and the southern part. I live in the south now and I grew up in the north and there is a difference.

It really doesn't take long. I went to the Appalachian Smokeys region this spring for a month and picked it up really quick. I've completely lost it now tho. Can't even fake it without mangling it, but Im aiming to fix that shortly. I was also in western Canada for a week and a half. I was saying eh and for sure, in every other sentence. Of course other parts come along more slowly.Accidently left my signature in this post.

An audio sample is the only appropriate way that it can be judged - there are so many aspects that cannot be written down.
English has quite a wacky range of accents. Listen to people from Birmingham or Newcastle or Liverpool...mad...Speaking of Erith:

You suck man, but your Mama's sweet! You suck, but your Mama, ohhh... Uh-huh, your Mama! Far out man, you do suck, but not as good as your Mama! So what's it gonna be?
