My prediction is that the debate is going to be interrupted after the first 5 minutes, because Al-Jazeera will just have aired a new BinLaden tape, where he says that if he were American, he would be voting for Kerry. And that he got the idea about the twin tower attack while having dinner, when he accidentally dropped his spoon on a couple of Heinz ketchup and mustard bottles.

my prediction is that the candidates who offer americans real alternatives and real choices wont be present at the debates.

So the question is will bush whip out a .45 like Walter did? I think the author was watching this movie before he wrote the article. Because the analogy doesn't fit. The writer makes a good point. He should break that rule, damn would Bush squirm.

Is there any place where I could follow this debate via the internet?

I suspect a few of the major US American networks will carry a live stream on their websites. I saw MSNBC.com carry Pres. Bush's speech as the first bombs fell in Baghdad, so I would imagine they'd carry the debates.

I suspect that the debate will be about as much fun as being tied down and forcibly rimmed by Bea Arthur.

*not that there's anything wrong with that.

Re Ramo's article: they will find a way to dismiss Kerry if he does that.

I'm guessing all of the networks, all of the cable news stations, C-Span, and PBS. I suggest one of the latter two.
