Today, you are the waves of the Pacific, pushing ever eastward. You are the sequoias rising from the Sierra Nevada, defiant and enduring.

I wouldn't call Scorpius a villain, but even so...

He's just the all around best of everything.

If Scorpius doesn't fit your qualifications for villain, I'd hate to see who does...

"Villain" implies a 1 dimensional character - either just being completely evil, or an obvious opponent to the protagonist.

Scorpius is a character with much too depth and complexity to be called a villain. He isn't neccisarily evil, nor is he always the opponent.

Scorpius, while cool and stuff, is definitely teh evil.

                  He's not evil.

                  ...

Alright, he can be vengeful, manipulative, and even sadistic... but he's a victim too, and deep down he has a good side.

He isn't just your typical power hungry or anarchistic villain. He has motives and history behind his actions, and they aren't solely for selfish reasons.

Just because the character of Scorpius is well thought-out, it doesn't make him any less of a bad-guy. In fact, it's precisely his pathos that makes him such an intriguing villain in the first place.

Heh. Well, I also root for Dr. Evil and Darth Vader. Does that mean that they aren't villains?

                            True villains must have style.

No, I did not steal that from somebody on Something Awful.
