  • Why can't we get rid of the Dear Leader?

I mean, seriously. The guy seems to have a lock on the polls, and he's got a huge cheering section that shouts down anybody who disagrees with him by calling them traitors and unpatriotic.

It's quite evident that most people don't really like him, but kinda don't have a choice, because admittedly, he was passed the mantle by the party from the Great Leader. Who can argue with that? The Great Leader did rebuild the country's confidence, industry, and economy, triumphing over the evil empire. Who's to say that some of that magic didn't rub off on the Dear Leader, the anointed one?

But face it. He's just not good for the country, and yet the party refuses to see that, and neither do those rabid personality cultists.

    It's a huge tragedy, I suppose.

I'm appalled that he is still leading in the polls. I conclude two things:

    1. Americans are stupid
    2. Kerry sucks ass

And he has a lot of money to spend on campaigning, that helps too.

What really pisses me off is that almost daily, we're treated to the next outrageously bad thing he's done in the news. It's insane! The sheer amount of duplicity and lying that goes on around the Dear Leader...

I honestly can't understand why nobody just tries to go and off the guy.

          2) is given.

The reason he's doing well is that,
          1) His strategy of keeping the war in terror IN the Middle East and not in the middle of America is a pretty decent strategy.

          2) The opposing party absolutely refused to put up a candidate with any wide spread electibility and went for the Liberal constiuency leaving the conservatives with little choice but to vote for Bush.

Another thing that irks me about him:
He's always waving the flag and saying he's patriotic, and then calling to our attention some vague and undefined threat from beyond our borders that seeks to destroy our way of life.

Also, the economy's been in the crapper ever since he came into office, but now that there are signs of things looking brighter, his cheering crowd is saying he did all the right things to fix it! Mind, you, this is the same crowd that steadfastly refused to pay attention to the economic problems when they were getting worse...

Kerry is a DLC pick (centrists)... and don't give me that "most liberal senator" bull****. That National Journal Study was from one year... and that was the year that Kerry missed like 76% of votes or whatever. Kerry might be a liberal, but his policies read like the Clinton years.... pure centrism.

Kerry is a big idiot. That's basically what it is.

Oh! Yet ANOTHER bad thing about the Dear Leader: the Party has a lock on the legislature as well! So pretty much anything the Dear Leader wants gets done, rubberstamped by a legislature that thinks it owes its success to the Dear Leader.

Oddly enough, you posted this just as I was looking up North Korea's website for kicks, so I almost had no clue what you're talking about....

Er, you are talking about Bush, right?

Funny you should mention that. They have laws against these things you know.

Seriously, I hate the Dear Leader. Great Leader I can live with, seeing as he DID think he was working in the best interests of his country...

Dear Leader, on the other hand, is a complete ******. How the hell could he have ever gotten into that position of authority? Oh yeah, a frikkin' SILVER SPOON throughout his whole goddamn life, even while he was pissing it away on booze and drugs in his youth!

                            Ugh.
