  • Notradamus/Usama bin Ladin

Anyone still have a copy of Notradamus laying around?

If I recall correctly, Notradamus predicts the Anti-Christ (or at least an Anti-Christ-like figure) will arise from the Muslim world. And I believe there was references to weapons of mass destruction and a world-wide war.

I think these predictions are found about 80-85% of the way through the book.

    Can anyone verify this?

    thanks.

I don't think his CV is big enough to earn him the title of antichrist though.

You don't. He predicts a figure from 'the east'. There are references to what have been interpreted as a New Ghengis Khan. He states that the figure will have a holy day on a Thursday - this is not Islam. There are references to a third anti-Christ, although there is no definite quatrain AFAIK that links the identity to this other figure. He may only be a foreshadower of the 3rd anti-christ. An anti-John-the-Baptist perhaps.

Of course there are references to a world war, fire and blood and anguish and whatnot. It's WW3.

I remember reading something about a blue turban. The anti-christ is supposed to have a trademark blue turban or blue hat of some kind. Maybe a blue beret. I think the anti-christ is supposed to be a military leader/head of state. Not some run of the mill terrorist asswipe.

Me, I'm of the opinion that the anti-Christ, the "Great Deciever" is good ol' Dubya.

Yes, but the anti-Christ isn't supposed to be recognized as such until it's too late.

Thanks Gangerolf. These are some of the lines I was misremembering:

                        Century X - Quatrain 72:

                        The year 1999, seventh month,
From the sky will come a great King of Terror:
To bring back to life the great King of the Mongols,
Before and after Mars to reign by good luck.
If this refers to UBL, he's two years too late and from the wrong country--although, would someone from Notradamus's generation distiguished between a Mongol and an Islamic fundamentalist fanatic?

If the 'King of Terror" was supposed to be bin Laden, he were to bring back to life "the great King of the Mongols," namely Genghis Khan.

We don't see Khan around, do we?

The Anti-Christ will not be some evil-looking man. He will be someone that many people respect and think is a good guy, the right guy. Like Senator Palpatine.
