    • At the whole thread.

Oh, and Ned, I still laugh at you, if you were wondering.

For the simple reason, as stated elsewhere, that this was never an issue for me. Please note in fact that never once in this thread have I agreed with the allegations nor given them a seconds time. Unlike the main denizens of this thread- I care about real issues, not innuendos, lies, and crap. Maybe you guys should start talking about the issues: hell, I even made a thread for everyone to post their beliefes on the issues. Last I checked, really NONE of the main participants in this farce took the opportunity.

That is the really sad part, the sad pathetic part- given a chance to hold real policy discussions, all of you are AWOL. But when it comes to discussing non-issues, you are there, reporting for duty.

The "liberal" media is in fact the commercial media (fully owned by large corps). You guys are proof that the destruction of news as we once knew them works, cause god knows you guys are more than willing to play this sad pathetic game, and run away from serious discussion like Bush from a game of Trivial Persuit.

to the whole lot of you.

        • My only participation in this thread has been arguing with Ogie baout his idea that the media is horribly lefty and the bloggosphere is "unbiased"-that and laughing at Neds "brilliant" little reply.

As I said, I made a thread-even called it put up or shut up. A few people did participate- most present company certainly not included.

          • Nah, I'm just remarking at how you blew up there, it wasn't a remark about your overall participation in this thread. Truly a classic rant.

Well, given all the attention Drakie Pooh and Ned and Ogie gave my participation, I had to respond somehow, and that somehow is by putting the record straight. Interestingly enough, this thread was on page 3 before I responded, and then it was to Flubbers question about how may debates were planned, and why real issues were not discussed. Sad to say Id didn't see anyone else get involved in that relevant discussion- heck, the closest we came to a threadjack was Neds "assertion" Disney picks like Nemo and Spirit (neither actually made by Disney) are anti-American. Sadly Q killed that jack by starting a new thread.

                Of course not.

Next, there's going to be a Democratic brigade harping about how it was all Rove's doing. Compounding lies on forgeries. Have the democrats no shame?

                • Ah well, if Bush wins, that's okay. Bush is such a boon for the real left. When half a million people show up to protest, that's fertile ground for recruiting.

As I said earlier: put up or shut up:

Quote where in this thread or any I say, in any form, that is is an issue worth discussing or where I discuss it.

If you can;t, then we see what shameless is.

Yet you said previously you wounld't find it hard to believe it was a ****bomb left for the DNC by Rove.

Yeh, but for the democrats at the national level to insinuate that Rove did it, even though currently there is no information to believe that he did (and there's plenty of evidence that they did instead) is what is called a dirty rotten lie.

Give it up, GePap. You have what, 10 posts in this thread about the subject already? For somebody who doesn't think it's worth discussing, you're sure discussing it a lot.

Maybe you have some comprehension problems, so I will be gentle with you (and yes, I am sick of crap posts like yours, which is why I am angry): Posting in a thread is not the same as discussing the issue in the OP. If that were true, such things as threadjacks would not exist.

What post did I make on the subject, that subject being the memos?

Lets see: I have a couple reply to flubbers good and ignored point. I have one laughing at Ned, a few on his silly anti-Disney rant, and mainly a discussion with Ogie about the quality of the bloggosphere vs. real media. The only thing that even comes close to discussing the topic is that, and even then it isn;t about these memos.

Now, was that clear enough for you, or do I have to repost all my posts and show you why you were an ass?

                              • Excuse me, all you left-wing media conspiracy types. It's not a left wing media conspiracy, it just the bastards are lazy. Look at Rumsfeld getting away with telling Congress several months ago that he had no idea he's need extra troops in Iraq. Of course he didn't, he censured General Kinseki (google it if you don't recall the name, I'm pretty sure I got the spelling right) when he told them, BEFORE they went into Iraq, that they would need over 200,000 men. The media let Rumsfeld get away with that brazen lie. They are not left-wing, just lazy. Since I got to bury one of Rumsfeld's mistakes, I take that very personally. The day Bush fires that incompetent jerk who seems intent on proving he learned absolutely NOTHING from Vietnam is the day I might consider not basing my vote on "Anybody but Bush". Try burying a family member and then listen to the bastard lie about why it happened, while the media stays silent. A competent leader admits to mistakes, and fires his underlings who are incompetent. That's a minimum standard of competency, and Bush doesn't meet it.
