"Jesus ****ing Christ! Did you see the rack on that!?!".

    Me: "No.. where?"

I don't do that either, though I always suspected that that type of behaviour has more to do with:
    a: macho
    or
    b: male (in)security.
Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent. Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent. Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil? Is he neither able nor willing?
Then why call him God? - Epicurus

As an aside, I think I have become desensitized to beautiful young women. There are so many around varsity that I don't really notice any more. But when I take friends on campus, they spend all their time going:

"Jesus ****ing Christ! Did you see the rack on that!?!".

I look, but I never comment. I'm not the type to say: hey- look at the rack on that. And I try not to stare. But to not look is just wrong.

I replied: There is nothing which for my part I like better, Cephalus, than conversing with aged men

            I stopped reading here:

I'd take sex over dirty talk with old men. You're weird, Aggie.

That doesn't work anymore. There are lots of guys who play around, that the wife doesn't know about...

There is a difference between looking from time to time at a creature extra-ordinaire and howling at everthing that passes equipped with breasts.

                  I'm not a prominent politician!!!

Besides, more play around with other women. I don't do that either.

I'm not talking about politicians specifically, more about the creepy 35 year old at the local gym.

That's true, but the howling seems to be more honest somehow...

That's part of Plato's idea: he doesn't want to be that guy.

At least you don't go to a Classical Greek gym, where everyone exercised naked ("gymnasium" comes from the Greek verb "to get naked") and then retired to the showers for a bit of buggery.

I find no positive aspect of pornography, even from a non-religious perspective.

Well, I suppose it has limited educational value for young men.

One of my old professors used to tell a story about a friend of his who was a member of an extremely puritanical Christian sect. This guy had never seen a porn film and one day found himself outside an adult cinema at the opposite end of the country from his home town. So he thought, "what the hell" and went in.

An hour later he came out, distinctly unimpressed, but with satiated curiosity. Unfortunately, by one of those odd coincidences, his pastor was holidaying in the same town and was walking right past the cinema as he emerged.

With the money states spend on sex ed textbooks, I hope we don't have to resort to pornography to teach human anatomy.

But those books manage to portray sex as being about as much fun as a colostomy. I suppose that would explain some of our social problems....

I can't ever remember seeing fellatio in my 5th form bio textbook, though.
