I thought genital warts mainly covered the head. I've never seen a case, so I'm not sure.

Yes, I think it would, but it will be limited, as heteros are now careening towards the freestyle life. So the societal expectation for monogamy isn't going to be as much a factor by the time gay marriages are widespread things.

Condoms will help to prevent spreading warts, but they will only protect the area they cover. As HPV may be present anywhere in the anal and genital area, they may not provide full protection.
