Bush has asked congress for one 125 billion dollar procurement for the war, then 87 billion more, and even with war costs higher than expected, the most the US has spent in Iraq since before we invaded is about 350 billion.

The tax breaks STIMULATED THE ECONOMY! That means it really didn't set us back a trillion anything, much less a trillion dollars. The war in Iraq was really, truly, out of Bush's pocket.

Gepap, Yes, old people tend to be veterans (or rather, reverse it). This make shock you, but it is true. I am not ignorant for stating the sky is blue, and then using that solid logic to reinforce my claim that the TROOPS need the cash NOT THE VETERANS!
