ACK!
Don't try to confuse the issue with half-truths and gorilla dust!

Commissioner, please reconsider this. If you declines to do so, fine, you're the commish, but can we PLEASE have some CLEAR definition on this issue before we're adjudicating hamstrings and hangnails??
According to the rules we agreed upon in the last draft thread:
Injury: If a player has a major injury (4 games+) and you want to replace him during the draft with someone who has not been drafted yet, you are allowed to do so, only you give up ALL rights to the injured player.
I mean we can't say that since Boston was later in the draft we are going to chuck this rule that we agreed to back in the 3rd round. Sorry, Kalius, you also agreed to those rules.
You know, sometimes I wonder if people actually think through the effect of rules before saying 'Yeah' or 'Nay'. Obviously plenty did not and voted just on the specific situation. Both Boston and Shipp are covered under the rules that we agreed to and no one said those rules were unacceptable, sorry. I'm of the opinion we must have rules like this because we can't get everyone together for a live draft, which I'd hold the week before the season started (thus these injuries would be known).
“I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”
- John 13:34-35 (NRSV)

Well, according to you, we should have been unanimous about it, which is pretty much impossible.
--"If you don't like 'em, I'm sorry. If you think that it is sacrificing principles, then so be it. Unless I hear unanimous negative reaction to these rules, I'm going to keep them in force."
But alright, let's let this pass for this year, but we need to change this next year. I propose we adopt the FFZ rules on this.

If it's because you were interested in drafting Porter, I'm willing to consider a trade. Imran gave me that much when he lost Ricky, and it's only fair I pass the favor on.
No, this is more about you taking Porter before it's even your turn in the draft.
