      Appropriate. Good title, for once!

The random trivia tidbit this reminds me of was that they were originally going to call Episode VI "Revenge of the Jedi" when they realized that Revenge was a bit strong of a term for a good guy, so they changed it. Revenge works just fine here, though!

        No?

Well, OK. I like mine better, though.

Star Wars: Is the Franchise Dead Yet?

Coincidentally, this is also the title of the next Star Trek movie.

What are they getting revenge for, exactly? The fact that they virtually slaughtered all the Jedi in Ep II?

BG: Though it's not in any of the movies, apparently the Sith got beat down by the Jedi thousands of years ago. If you ever play Knights of the Old Republic, that takes place in one of the wars that was supposed to have happened back then.

Indeed. The Sith were wiped out by the Jedi many centuries ago, which is why the Sith take the Jedi console completely by suprise in the Vader arc.

I think their (the Sith) assumed-total annihilation was briefly mentioned on-screen in episode 4.
