This time, however, I found it difficult to pass on Torry Holt.

It's a nice pick. He was almost as good as Moss last year.

It's hard to tell who Bulger will go to this year. He might go to Bruce more this year, or just spread the ball aroung generally.

But Holt has more of that breakaway speed that makes for 60 yard TDs. Bruce is the possession reciever.

Don't get me wrong. Holt's abilities have certainly surpassed Bruce's and Bruce it aging a bit, but it will be better if Bulger spreads the ball around more this year.

Bruce did have 69 catches, so it wasn't like he was just standing around not getting the ball. The problem is that without Faulk, the Rams O loses a dimension. It's easier to focus on the WR and Holt is better at losing his defender, IMO.

Holt had massive numbers last year, 117 catches for nearly 1,700 yards and twelve TDs.

It's hard to match that, but even if his production decreased to 100 catches for 1,400 yards and ten TDs or so, I wouldn't be complaining.

And I suggest that you guys don't take it upon yourselves to BAPAY people without some consultation with the Commish...that's bull****.
The first post clearly states Monday as being the BAPAY start date and it is only 1pm my time.

If necessary, I will normally get a PM at CG.

Actually it says we won't start in with the BAPAYs until Monday. Nothing saying that 12:01 Monday was the start date. Sorry about that though, I'm sure none of us mind you changing your pick to Barlow.

I won't be holding to a strict 24 hour rule but if someone doesn't pick for ~2 days they'll be bapayed and then they'll get a strict 24 bapay limit the next time

Anyhow, I'm sure none of you are going to cry over Barlow...he's just SF's starter now and will be a top 10 back by the end of the season.

I think they really needed to go to Faulk in the air more last year.
