Sales are, of course, the number one indicator of a work's importance and quality. As such, I think it's about time that we all acknowledge Ann Coulter as one of the greatest writers of our era.

if ann coulter didn't write in such racially charged terms, maybe i'd be inclined to consider that possibility, because she can make cogent arguments. the fact remains, however, that because of her inability to be any different from michael savage, she will never be a great writer.

I agree completely... I checked out her book "treason" from the library and I couldn't even finish it because it has so terrible... Seriously... replace the word "liberal" with "Jew" and Ann Coulter IS Hitler. I'm not joking.

interesting figures from Drudge last year-it seems he got into a hissy fight with O'Reilley. Anyway, notice how Moore's Book was selling just as well as Coulters. Given that Stupid White Men probalby sold more than Slander as well, in terms of Book Sales Moore is ahead of Coulter, NOT EVEN counting movies and TV and god know what.

The main difference with Limbaugh (with the little I saw from Limbaugh), is that Limbaugh uses no facts to justify his point of view. Zilch, nada.

You have seen very little of Limbaugh. He tends to back his arguments with skewed facts (twisting stats to support his views) and soundbites taken out of context. Which is what Moore does .

I'm very familiar with Limbaugh. I listen every so often... and yes, he does skew facts. But Moore rarely uses numbers or skewable statistics. What you perceive as "skewing" is really interpretation. Like I said, Randi Rhodes is a left leaning example of Limbaugh... not Moore.
