I think England will struggle against Croatia. They certainly struggled in the second half against France, and played rubbish against Switzerland until the Swiss defender was sent off.
England cannot hold onto the ball, and against a team like Croatia they could get caught in a similar way to France. England also traditionally do poorly in games where a draw is enough (e.g. Greece in the WC qualifier, 3rd game in WC group) and also do poorly against teams like Romania (98 WC) Macedonia (04 Euro qualifying) where the opposition have strong ball skills and maybe a defensive approach.
In their favour, Croatia have to win. It could be very tough.Comment

Britain is traditionally unfriendly as a nation to Croatia, this goes back to before WWII and continues to this day (UK plays the bad cop in our EU negotiations).
But not entire UK is the enemy ofcourse we respect the Scots and I saw a poll that says 70% of them will root for Croatia come monday so this is mutual.Comment
