While France didn't play very good neither did England and I'm glad that the catenaccio-tactics used by England after their goal wasn't rewared.
Wasn't this obvious after what happened with Italy during the last World Cup? It might work in a domestic league or against lesser teams, but you can't use it in a major international competition.

Its swings and roundabouts, England will thrash France soon. It was the Netherlands 4-1 in '96, the Germans 5-1 in '01. Both were seen to be laying to rest ghosts from the decade prior to them, and so it will be with France if they lose to them again in the final of this competition..
One day Canada will rule the world, and then we'll all be sorry.

Gary Neville was one of our best players out there. If only he had a winger to help him down the right.
I think we really miss the likes of Shearer, Sheringham, Ferdinand, Owen from years gone by. Our strike force is a bit poor really. I'd have preferred Alan Smith and Vassell to the starters yesterday.
Scholes is wasted. I still don't rate Lampard despite him scoring. And we're horribly unbalanced.
James
G Neville - King - Campbell - Bridge
Beckham - Scholes - Gerrard - A Cole
Vassell - Rooney
^ is probably the best line-up for the next few games. I hope Erikkson experiments with Cole at left wing once we are in a comfortable position against either the Swiss or Croats. It'll balance the side much better.www.my-piano.blogspot

Beckham was absolutely rubbish. Drop him and keep Lampard and I'd pretty much agree with that.Jon Miller: MikeH speaks the truth
Jon Miller: MikeH is a shockingly revolting dolt and a masturbatory urine-reeking sideshow freak whose word is as valuable as an aging cow paddy.
We've got both kinds
