      • That was such a big surprise that nobody predicted it, so we all still have zero points in the prediction game.

              • Some amazing piece of trivia I just head;

                Spain has never won a game at the EC with more than 1 goal difference.

                    England - France 2-2
                    Switzerland - Croatia 1-0

                            • Did you notice the greatest difference from the world cup? The referees; I hardly noticed them in the fist two games. And as most of you know, it's hard not to notice Collina. Good grades both for him and Urs Meier from me.

                              Otherwise, it think the first game was nice, kind of like the first game in the world cup, but without the 'post-colonial implications' of Senegal vs. France. I think it's nice when a competition starts with a shock. Hopefully it'll make the other favorites understand that you have to really put your effort into it, even against poor teams. Wonder why Portugal never can make an effort at all. It's kind of pathetic really.

                              • To be honest I thought both games were boring, not really unexpected on the opening day, a pitty none-the-less.

                                In the second game, the referee was a bit yellow card trigger happy, but at least nothing as bad as most opening games in the WC.
