I am still 7th... not bad

the only problem is that I chose Henry to be top scorer and France are not playing him in the way to make him score...

The French are relegated to third place only on the off chance they suffer a loss by at least three goals against Switzerland - now that would be a surprise for sure.

              • I think Switzerland will just have to beat the French by any margin to surpass them in the table. Then they'll both have 4 points, and the result of their mutual match goes before overall goal difference, so I believe.

I think the mutual result thing is correct. They need England to win so that they only need to beat France by any margin though.

If England, France and Switzerland should end up on 4 points (each having drawn to Croatia) then the Swiss would need to win by 2 goals against France to stay in on mutual results, but then they'd need to score more than 2 in order to get either a superior goal difference or a superior goals scored record than England or France. Its purely an academic concept though. The Swiss ain't gonna put 3 past France.

                              • I'm not surprised to see Gravesen playing aggressively from the start, but a free kick nine seconds into the game (that should really have resulted in a yellow card) has got to set some sort of record.

Oh, and how about that stadium, freaky yet cool
