If you want to smear campaign, maybe I should bring up this:

A SENIOR Tory... made [a Nazi salute] in the direction of German-born Labour councillor Lynne Joyce, which was accompanied with a shout of 'Sieg Heil'.

Not only is this an activist of the party, he's an elected, senior councillor for the Tories.

It's a lot easier to brand the Tories as fascist, than it is to brand Lib Dems as communist.

Not entirely related to the topic, but a question for the Americans here(well and any i guess).

But if it was your President being called a 'poodle' in comparison to the British Prime Minister, ie the relationship balance was reversed, would you still want to vote for him next time around?
