I came to the conclusion that sexual attraction is a part of the person character. I.e., something of nurture, but the degree of a person's control over one own's character is limited. The only difference that this sexual attraction is, that it's forceful against people who aren't fully formed.

What I don't like is when people direct their hate against paedophiles, instead of wanting to protect the children.

Well, it's my belief that being a pedophile is probably a lot like being gay in that it's an abnormal sexuality. I don't know if it's nature or nurture, but I do know that the "cures" for gay people is a crock and hopeless, so I think it'd be the same for pedophiles.Originally posted by Azazel
