  • The end of "Friends"

Does anyone still watch that show?

I used to watch it the first couple of years as I was the only guy in our flat and the women liked it. It was occasionally quite funny.

But I don't like it. It is supposed to be set in New York, but where are the black people?

Seinfeld was set in New York and it reflected the racial mix there. Although the main characters were all white, there were recurring characters of different races and race was a continual theme of the show (I loved the cigar store Indian episode).

But Friends is unrelentingly white. That sucks.

I used to watch Friends on a regular basis before the academic boot camp of graduate school slapped me on the hand for having any leisure time.

But tonight I will watch the series finale for sure -- I saw the second last episode last week.

I quit watching it years ago when it seemed like none of the group were functional adults -- especially Ross. I may watch the finale, though.

Btw, I think TBS is airing the first episode tonight at 7:00 or 7:30 EST.

I've never seen an episode of "Friends" before, but thought y'all might like to know.

I've never been a big fan of the show. I just don't like any of the characters.

Guess this means I don't get to watch Bab 5 dvds tonight.

Shockingly enough MrFun, some households can afford two TV's. Yeah, I know - it surprised me too.

So as matter of principle commies only allow their household one 2-inch television screen -- and in black and white?

Ahh, of course, it's a TV show.

Sorry we didn't answer your question -- that was kinda rude of us.

Tell Bunnygrrrl that somethings take priority even over Friends!

Then, after she is done watching the show, you can ask pretty please to get them back...

Oh, and I just got season 3! That is a hard season to find for less than 99 bucks, but of course it is the best.
