Exult in your existence, because that very process has blundered unwittingly on its own negation. Only a small, local negation, to be sure: only one species, and only a minority of that species; but there lies hope. [...] Stand tall, Bipedal Ape. The shark may outswim you, the cheetah outrun you, the swift outfly you, the capuchin outclimb you, the elephant outpower you, the redwood outlast you. But you have the biggest gifts of all: the gift of understanding the ruthlessly cruel process that gave us all existence [and the] gift of revulsion against its implications.

Sorry, but I cannot consider Boris with enough gravity to relate him to the Apocalypse.

Not that I am saying he is light in the loafers or anything.

Reading the 'Poly OT is about as "voluntary" as breathing

Big ****ing deal. I am a white anglo-saxon male heterosexual christian and everyday I have to live with the stress of having my integrity and decency challenged because of my race, religion and sexual orientation.

See, I have just demonstrated that straight guys can whine too. Jerk.

We are not whining -- we have serious, legitimate concerns that still need to be addressed.

My heart bleeds. Must be terrible having the world built around you, for you, by others like you.

I agree with that. But man, its like having digital cable and 273 channels of "Roots" reruns. After a bit it just gets on the nerves.

No ****ing **** -- sentiments exactly, Starchild.

I suppose blacks were "whining" about imaginary wrongs during the 1950s and 1960s, huh?

Well, at least you're not forced to watch "Roots: The Next Chapter."

and the award for Lamest Analogy of The Day goes to... envelope rips open ... Captain Dizle for comparing the Apolyton OT to a 30 year old miniseries!

Wow, is that like a caned response that you have memorized or would you like to go on record of having thought that one up by yourself?

I concur. However, flaming doesn't do any good. This is why we have these threads. It's about a right to chose, as Tia puts it, or what civil liberty is.

We debate homosexuality a lot, because it transcends all issues of discrimination while we can ignore other facets; race, religion, nationality, social class, etc...

It is a good debate, and if you [Capt. Dizle] continue to be such a flammer about this than please try to ignore the thread instead of giving straight, white, christian men a bad name.

My thoughts exactly. So what qualifies as "Gay infested?" And how many threads currently running are under such infestation?
