Times have changed; our kids are getting worse.
They won't obey their parents, they just want to fart and curse.
    Should we blame the government?
    Or blame society?
Or should we blame the images on tv?

    No!

    Blame Canada! Blame Canada!
With all their beedy little eyes, their flapping heads so full of lies.
    Blame Canada! Blames Canada!
We need to form a full assult.
    It's Canada's fault!

Don't blame me for my son Stan.
He saw the darn cartoon and now he's off to join the Klan.
And my boy Eric once had my picture on his shelf,
But now when I see him he tell's me to f*ck myself.

    Well...

    Blame Canada! Blame Canada!
It seems that everything's gone wrong since Canada came along.
    Blame Canada! Blame Canada!
They're not even a real country anyway.

My son could've been a doctor or a lawyer it's true.
Instead he burned up like a piggy on a barbeque.
    Should we blame the matches?
    Should we blame the fire?
Or the doctors who allowed him to expire?

    Heck no!

    Blame Canada! Blame Canada!
With their hockey hullabaloo and that b*tch Anne Murray too!
    Blame Canada! Shame on Canada...
For the smut we must stop...
    The trash we must smash...
    The laugher and fun...
    Must all be undone...
We must blame them and cause a fuss...
Before somebody thinks of blaming us!

As long as you Canadians don't bomb the Baldwin's you're alright with me.

Oh, and fvck Faux News Channel and that whiny baby O'Really too.
The cake is NOT a lie. It's so delicious and moist.

The Weighted Companion Cube is cheating on you, that slut.

It's interesting that O'Reilly is threatening this boycott - Fox, we report, you decide - just as Fox is trying to get their channel into Canada and citing as his reason two American deserters who apparently have obtained asylum in Canada. I have to wonder if he'd be threatening this boycott if the Canadian government let Fox in. A week earlier O'Reilly was insisting that the government should censor what people can watch or hear on TV and radio down here because those are the public airwaves. I guess he meant the government should censor what he doesn't like, not what the Canadian government wants.

Anyway, O'Reilly and Fox is right. I didn't know Canada is so statist wrt what people can see. And I thought liberals believed in freedom

Oh yeah, O'Reilly cited the push to decriminalise pot in Canada as one of his reasons for the boycott. The irony there is that O'Reilly has said pot should be decriminalised in the US too. And then he said Canada was legalising heroin. The Canadian reporter/editor he had on from the Globe (I believe) denied that saying one mayor wanted to introduce a methadone program in one of Canada's major cities. The next night O'Reilly said a Canadian mayor wanted the "quais-legalisation" of heroin without admitting he flubbed the night before. In one of my emails to O'Reilly I asked him if that meant the USA wants to legalise gay marriage because some mayors are pushing for that policy change. O'Reilly would be funny if he wasn't so powerful, but he can ruin people down here and Canadians shouldn't laugh too much at him, he led a boycott on the French and apparently did some serious damage.

I hope I do not offend the genuine born-and-bred Canucks, but as someone who has spent most of his life (and nearly all the last four years) wishing he were Canadian, I think we should take up a collection and hire Todd Bertuzzi to go break O'Reilly's neck.

Btw, I'm not entirely sure you could characterize someone as a far right-winger, who is a strict vegetarian and a dog lover. You know who I mean.

Because that has ANY bearing on his political beliefs whatsoever?

O'Reilly saying that Jesus would probably be against the death penalty, for one, shows that he is either against the DP or not very religious. Secondly he said this to the President, as a challenge. If he were a right-wing lackey, no way he would have said it. I mean O'Reilly pisses over right wingers as much as he does left wingers. I really don't think I could put him in either camp, really.

we get "As it happens" on the local NPR station down here. I can tell you, theyre not CLOSE to impartial about Israel, theyre strongly pro-Arafat. Are they atypical of CBC?

The closest to balanced on Israel of US broadcast nets is probably CBS? Are Canwest and CityTV more pro-Israel than CBS?
